1. What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?

Entire body waxing (Brazilian wax, bikini wax, back wax, eyebrows, underarm, upper lip), facials, chemical peels, eyelash curl and dye, eyebrow dye, permanent makeup, microblading. My business is very personal because only I perform the services, not other staff that I have trained. It is a private, intimate, relaxing spa in Historic Dilworth. I have 40 years of experience in the industry and have perfected my methods to be the least painful, fastest hair removal that will leave you hairless for the longest amount of time.

2. What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

I had thick course hair and acne breakouts when I was younger, and getting an aesthetician's help made a complete difference in my life and self-confidence. After becoming an aesthetician myself, I have owned multiple spas and opened Parvin's Spa to give my client's a comfortable, private one-to-one experience. I am able to give them my full attention, and perform all services myself to ensure the best possible outcomes for each one.

3. What do you love most about your job?

I love seeing my clients' transformation and seeing how happy and confident they feel after services. I love meeting new clients and sharing my knowledge of the beauty industry with them. I also love learning from them as well and building new relationships.

4. What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

After doing permanent makeup on a client that had suffered from a stroke, I was able to see the self-confidence and joy she got from creating defined eyebrows, eyeliner, and lip liner. She was extremely deserving of her new appearance that made her so happy, and I was really rewarded by that experience.
