It was 1962 when Mr. and Mrs. Segal opened their Italian restaurant, proudly naming the eatery after their 5-year-old son, Ricky. Ricky now carries on his parent's tradition, captaining Riccio's chefs as they fold fine meats, seafood, and housemade sauces into authentic Italian pastas, pizzas, and specialties. In the kitchen, they stir pots of minestrone soup, scatter layers of mozzarella over white-style pizzas, and peek into ovens to check on housemade garlic rolls. Out in the dining room, guests—including everyone from families with young children to couples—linger over cannoli and fine wines at white-clothed tables.
