My daughter was so excited to do this couples head spa together. We arrived and the waiting area and treatment rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. There was no scalp topicals as listed in the Groupon description. As someone who has had a head spa treatment before this is clearly a very new process for them as there was very little focus on scalp or scalp massaging. It was relaxing but after the service we were directed to a room with one dirty brush full of hair and hair all over the hair dryer and table surfaces. Not to mention my daughter’s hair was left so matted and tangled we had to struggle for a long time to get the knots removed from her hair. They said they had no other brushes in the whole facility and only after I asked they cleaned and sanitized the dirty brush we were given. When trying to check out the person at front informed me their prices are lower in the store than on Groupon and encouraged me NOT to use the Groupon and pay their store price. That was disheartened because I know they supply the pricing to Groupon so they knowingly made the prices higher than if you purchased in the store and that’s unethical. There is clearly some sanity issues and the state of my daughters hair when we left was enough not to return. I would not recommend this facility for head spa treatments.
