About Northern Virginia Sailing School

Northern Virginia Sailing School is located in Leesylvania State Park, Woodbridge, VA. Visitors can admire gorgeous landscapes and fascinating wildlife, like bald eagles, deer, and turtles. We had a wonderful experience - easy, accessible, and convenient. I wish the initial "Try Sail" had been a bit more didactic, but I also recognize that it's meant for a very beginner audience. Several members of our group have already decided to go back for more lessons!

A great deal for a great time. Myself and three friends had a ton of fun learning the basics of sailing and had an instructor who was very friendly and answered our multitude of questions! I would definitely recommend this to anyone considering learning how to sail.
