About Maglio’s Pizza

Who better to start a family-focused restaurant than a brother and sister? That's the story behind Maglio's Pizza, where co-owners Frank Maglia and Gina Simmons carry on the spirit of their Italian grandparents by serving authentic Italian eats served in the family tradition. Drawing inspiration from the Sunday dinners they loved as children, Frank and Gina built a menu of New York-style pizzas, sauce-soaked pastas, and hearty dinner plates loaded with veal parmesan and chicken marsala. The extensive menu also features cold and hot heroes—much like the comic, "The Adventures of Frozen Fella and Fire Guy"—along with fresh salads and plenty of shareable appetizers.

We drove from Short Pump and were thinking if it was worth the drive. We were pleasantly surprised. The Sicilian Pizza was good, but the topping were not up there. We called the manager and he graciously offered to get us any two pizzas to compensate for our experience. We ordered the Sicilian again and a Garlic Knot pizza. The Sicilian was probably the best pizza I have ever eaten. Thanks for the great service and phenomenal food.
