The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable. You feel more like a friend than a customer here. In fact, that vibe permeates through the atmosphere and people interact with each other like they would at a party. The building has character and charm. Time flies as you are well tended to and the food is great, way above the status quo in bar food! We will definitely be regulars here!

We have been going there for 3 years and enjoy their dark Grappa, and loved their apple Whiskey. We were a little disappointed that they did not make the apple whiskey last year, but we did enjoy Jen’s vodka !!

What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Bad Alfred's Distilling is a craft distiller in the Historic Chestertown district.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
The distillery started out as a farm winery growing our own grapes and making wines. Now the grapes are used for the spirit, Grappa.
What do you love most about your job?
There is nothing more fun than watching peoples faces as they taste the different spirits.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
The best reaction that the distillery recieved is the customers going WOW after tasting our craft spirits.
