About A Better Weigh, Medical Weight Loss Center

At A Better Weigh Medical Weight Loss Center, physician Umair K. Nazeer and his clinical team set patients up for success. Just ask staff nursing manager Chanay Walton, LPN, who lost 42 pounds using their methods. She and the rest of the crew provide one-on-one support during programs that incorporate healthy recipes and tools for lifelong weight management. Before clients begin a regimen, a doctor or nurse performs a thorough medical exam in order to recommend lifestyle changes and the FDA-approved medication that best suits their needs. Vitamin-B12 injections, appetite suppressants such as phentermine, and hCG might be an appropriate choice for some patients, whereas others may require fat-burning chromium supplements or water pills that shed unwanted moisture and fears of the ocean.

Lack of professionalism in the Beverly location. There are 2 MA's I would see. Unfortunately I never caught thier names. One is Hispanic and the other African American. The Hispanic young lady was always friendly and would have small talk before my injection. However, the other MA always seemed annoyed. The 1st time I came in she was standing there with a Nurse (which I found out after I met her). They both just looked at me. So I had to ask them what do I do... I was puzzled because why didnt they ask me how they could help. I'm the customer. Not to mention when I met with the Nurse she never said her name. So finally I asked. She gave it to me and explained this a part time job for all the nurses. Which basically told me there was no Real investment by the Nursing team. Heck, they couldn't even say namr thier upon introduction just dove into question . I bought a 16 shot package off Groupon. I've only been maybe 5 x's. The last time I went was enough for me. The room was filling up. The hispanic young lady was helping a patient. The other MA comes to the front and couldn't find charts. She became visibly irritated. Then verbally started blaming the other MA. I waited almost 30 min watching her flip charts & open drawers all while being aggravated. The other MA came to the front during that time and helped the next person. But the young lady looking for charts start asking her aggressively "What you do with their charts?" In the end the charts were on the desk. She apologized to the other MA - it was if they had a work issue or stressed out and couldn't act decent to each other. But, I personally enough. Couple of thoughts: - I understand this is not an atypical clinic but still treat the patient as a person and not simply a # - Get a new Medical Record keeping system. Even if its an Excel document with easy to search columns & Rows vs. Paper charts. No need for Epic but simply bettet office management - Give the team name tags. For some patients it is nice to know who they are talking too - Professional signage to explain what to do when walking in. How long to wait till asking for help - Hire a front desk clerk to man the desk and greet patients - Last, Customer Service. Refrain from having Maury on Lobby TV exposing the next baby daddy. MA's should always be professional and not voice an opinion about the episode on TV. Focus on explaining next steps and process These are just my thoughts. It is not a horrible place just simply needs to some tidiness and organization. Sadly, i do not think I'll be back to complete the package I spent $100 on and I do not beleive I have an opportunity to recieve a pro rated amount. I do hope, though, they can fix these issues. Because, its a niche service many people want to explore. Great Luck :)
