Inside the Atlas Performance facility, climbing ropes hang from the ceiling, squat racks line the walls, and ERG rowing machines dot the floor. Each apparatus awaits the scores of committed clients who call the space their home gym and use the equipment to rocket toward fitness goals such as improvements in strength, balance, power, endurance, and agility. Atlas Performance offers a variety of classes for all skill levels, including Fit360, TRX Suspension Training, and CircuitFit classes in addition to Crossfit. A crew of certified coaches, including some with a masters degree in Exercise Physiology and Sports Nutrition along with CSCS, PES, CPT, and CF1 certifications, preside over the class proceedings, correcting technique, shouting encouragement, and snatching away cheeseburgers while clients perform their workouts.
