Chicago Hauntings Ghost Tour, Chicago

I truly feel like I was scammed out of a tour! I purchased this as a gift and had no problem redeeming it for a gift. The problem came when my guest was waiting for the tour bus- which never came! They were there 20 minutes early and waited in separate spots because they were highly excited and they received emails stressing how the bus will leave promptly on time. The emailed instructions said at our guide will announce the tour at the front of the Congress Hotel - that did not happen. The instructions also said they will board along the side near the Congress Hotel Bar- not true. My guests asked hotel workers and hotel guests had they seen the your group and or the bus without any such luck. Would definitely NOT recommend this tour. I should have heeded the bad reviews on Yelp. Too bad for this company because I was going to request this as a field trip for the senior class at my school next year. Definitely going to spread the word with colleagues that Chicago Hauntings Ghost Tour is NOT reputable!

Loved it! Even if the sights themselves aren't too much to look at today, our tour guide l, Clarence, was an incredible storyteller. Had an issue where they communicated the wrong pick up location to us, about a mile away. But they came and picked us up, we got the entire tour as planned, and we were thoroughly entertained.

Great stories, lots of history about Chicago. Great experience! Might be better if the explanation is at the spot instead of in the bus priori of vivising the spot. Then the total time would be shorter.
