Encompass Yoga at Montrose Beach, Chicago

Though yoga is meant to invigorate and relax its practitioners, sometimes being confined inside the four walls of a studio just doesn't suffice. The instructors of Encompass Yoga break out of the confines of a building, choosing instead to set up their classes on the sands of Montrose Beach. In that natural environment, students breathe fresh air, dig their feet into cooler layers of sand, and cast sun salutations at the actual sun while stretching and connecting with their inner selves.
