About Five Iron Golf - Chicago
Five Iron Golf started in the back of a men's clothing store in midtown Manhattan, where Mike Doyle gave lessons on a simulator. Together with Jared Solomon, a former student, they began to entertain the idea of revolutionizing standard golf culture and bringing simulated lessons to a broader clientele. Katherine Solomon and Nora Dunnan joined the pair to help develop the business end of the startup. Once the team was completed, Five Iron Golf has expanded into other cities and continues to offer simulator lessons to students.

Great experience. My lesson was with Matt who was incredibly knowledgeable and fun to talk with while receiving helpful advice on improving my swing. Highly recommend!

I loved my experience at 5i. The instructor was extremely helpful and was able to give me a lot of pointers and adjustments to make in the first lesson so I was able to contact the ball more consistently. He was professional and geared his coaching tips towards my mechanics and how to make me better, not just out of the box instruction. I am a true beginner and I would recommend taking lessons!
