California and tuna-avocado makimono rolls join signature rolls such as the jumbo-size Akira with tuna and salmon or the Dragon, which crisps its shrimp tempura with its own fiery breath. Hot Woks Cool Sushi also hosts sushi-making classes, which include tasting menus, samplings of sake and wine, and chef supervision as guests create their own rolls.

I was really impressed with how the class was organized and the generosity of the "favors"- each person was given a sushi mat, shot glass, recipe and coupon to take home. Between that and the generous portion of food this groupon was a Great value for the price - I would definitely recommend this to others!

I was mistakenly expected this as a "sushi making class" (like cooking class) because it was advertised as such.
However, it was more like "Roll Your Own Sushi" in a restaurant like "Make Your Own Sundae" or "Grill Your Own Steak". I suggest they change the wording of their ad in the Groupon.
Nevertheless, for those who have never rolled sushi but would like to try, it would be a fun evening.
