HIjama therapy is based on the traditional practice of cupping. It utilizes minute pin pricks to reduce swelling, inflammation, toxins, and stagnant blood that may be present in the suctioned areas. Over time, hijama relieves stress, pain, swelling and improves circulation.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
The practice lead, Shireen Mohiuddin was raised by experts in traditional middle eastern medicine. She decided to use this knowledge to pursue a career in alternative medicine to help patients who suffer from both physical and mental ailments. Her practice welcomes people of all faiths.

What do you love most about your job?
Shireen is passionate about helping people overcome their ailments. She enjoys interacting with patients on a personal level. She creates a personal treatment plan customized to the needs of each patient. No two treatment plans are the same.

Most of our patients claim to have their ailments alleviated as a result of hijama therapy.
