Strange Beauty Show co-owners Virginia and Audrey and their staff of experienced stylists shape creative hairdos amid a colorful atmosphere of local artwork, vintage decor, and fashion magazines. Stylists colorize manes with subtle, face-framing highlights, shine-enhancing glazes, or an all-over hue as bright as a summa cum laude rainbow. They also snip strands into creative new looks to suit each individual style and summon gusts from a blow-drier to whip through follicular forests. Curvaceous curls are pinned into smooth bridal and bridesmaid updos, and in-salon makeup artists paint pallid cheeks apple pink and line eyes with strokes from a charcoal pencil.
