I booked the appointment 2 weeks in advance, call 5 days before arriving to give my voucher number to be told they didn’t have our reservation. The “spa” is a 12 x 12 room that barely fits two beds for a couples massage, no spa like feeling. Felt like they took more time adjusting the blankets than they did massaging. Disappointed.

The massage was great for the price and very relaxing.

An absolute joy! My therapist was so patient and amazing. I was just in town for one day and my flight left my neck and back in pain. I got stuck in traffic on my way there and they accommodated me. It was the best massage I have had in years. She confirmed all the areas I needed targeted and made sure the pressure was perfect.

The Gray is a beautiful hotel - they don’t actually have a spa though. So they set up an event space (?) with a couple of waiting couches, and rooms. The “spa” is run by a 3rd party. Everything is through them. The massage room was an empty room with massage tables, and surprisingly, some plastic chairs to put your belongings on and nothing else. It was all so sterile. White, bright ceiling lights (kind of like an office), not even a bamboo plant or some vibe. It had little portable speaker for mood.
The massage was great, that’s why I wouldn’t knock it any more stars. The therapists were great and personable, you can tell they’re professionals and know their stuff. For a higher-end hotel “spa” it was very underwhelming, if not disappointing. But it was clean and professional which is what’s important.
