About Worth Voice Studio

What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? In typical lessons, I offer a warm-up space with tea, stretching mat, massage tools and a high density foam roller, my undivided attention for the entirety of the lesson, and a skilled pianist for the second half of the lesson. At the end of typical lessons, the student receives a digital audio/video recording of the lesson, a digital snapshot of notes taken during the lesson, and access to reasonable communication with me between lessons. My teaching stands out because I’ve fought in the ring--I’ve had a successful career and alongside my technical training as a teacher, I know what it feels like to perform.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business? I’ve always been a teacher--as the child of two elementary school teachers and a former camp counselor I’ve been a part of educating my entire life. As a professional performer with a passion for educating, this is the logical conclusion!

What do you love most about your job? I love the inevitable moment(s) when a student makes an inspired sound and we know that we’ve brought something beautiful to life.
