I loved the instructor and the supplies were of high quality. The lighting at the restaurant location was very dim and difficult to paint in. If they had a studio location I would definitely return!

Go ready to get started... Unless ur a natural Artist, u need the entire time to finish. They were so patient and helpful. Really enjoyed it and they were so good at instruction.

The artists were super nice. The painting was difficult but they were really helpful if you were lost. It was very far from where I live in St. Louis so I wish they had more centrally located locations.

My friend and I attended a class and we had a great time. The instructor was fun and the additional staff were encouraging and helpful. I have zero painting abilities, but my piece turned out pretty well. I like that they hold the classes close to my home. I'll certainly return!

From Our Editors

The artists at Wine and Canvas awaken their students’ inner Rembrandts and Van Goghs with classes that pair a featured painting with specialty cocktails and wines. The mobile studio’s monthly calendar includes themed classes in which instructors expound on the nuances of painting Parisian street lamps, Japanese flowers, or Venetian cityscapes. The master painters—many of them local artists—provide step-by-step instructions while students mimic each stroke and periodically dip their brushes into glasses filled with crimson cabernet. Each of the studio’s various drink-friendly venues boasts a specialty libation selected to incite creativity or conversations with fellow painters. When the artistic frenzy concludes, students return home with a finished masterpiece large enough to conceal any wall safe or mirror portal.
