Attended this class with my 12 year old daughter. It was fun and educational. We both had a wonderful time. So much that we purchased another Groupon to go again. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff.

My cousin and I really had a nice time doing our fused glass class. It was a bit of a drive but it was worth it. May come back for another project after the first of the year.

I have 2 glass pieces I've made (so far!) and really enjoyed making them. The staff at Pottery Camp is always helpful. The owner, Sherry Hancuff, really enjoys working with each person to be sure you understand what you're doing and have everything you need. I look forward to my next visit!

Five of us in our family went to the glass shop during the week over summer break. It was a lot of fun and the kids made some amazing pieces that look great. Everyone wants to do it again, so we will be back.

They walked us through each step and were really nice. My picture had a lot of steps, but they didn't rush us out when it took longer than the allotted time. The employees seemed happy to be doing what they were doing and to be working together. Their patience and demeanor made the experience pleasant and made us feel welcome. I was very pleased with how my picture turned out, too!

From Our Editors

The goal at Pottery Camp is pretty simple, but you can make things as simple or complicated as you'd like. Here are the basics: you pick a bisque (pottery shape) such as a plate, cup, or even sculpture of Santa. Then you paint and decorate it to your heart's content; how much detail and creativity you add is entirely up to you. Once you're done, hand over the piece to Pottery Camp's staff, who will glaze it, fire it in their kiln, and have it ready for you to pick up in just a few days. The whole process makes for fun camps (in fact, Pottery Camp runs kids' camps in summer), bachelorette parties, birthday parties, and other social gatherings.

The fun does not end there, join Pottery Camp for a canvas painting party! Select from one of their designs and the staff will help through the painting process. No experience is needed, the ability to follow directions and work in a teaching atmosphere is a plus.
