Not a well organized event. First of all parking was a hassle on Clearwater beach and an extra expense! Then. As we walked up to the event in a drizzle of a rain, we realized we had to redeem/ purchase tickets across the street, and a block up from the event!!! (WTF)....not convenient to cross a busy street twice and on a Rainey day. Then, there were No plans for a Rainey day! The Tent was jammed with people bumping into each other....lines were long....samples of wine were cheap...seamed like more beer venders were there than wine venders...and the wine venders that were there were not high end. No little tables were set up inside so that you could perch for a while to sample a beverage or a food item. Had to hold everything in your hand and pray you didn't get bumped into. We will not be back!

Most people I talked to at the event thought Sunday was the better of the two days to attend because the crowds were smaller, thus saving time waiting in line for all of the food, beer and wines offered. This year's numbers could have been scewed by the Super Bowl. Parking can be expensive if you can't find parking on the street. I paid 6.50 for street parking one block off the beach after registering on the phone. Signs are very evident to access the number to call. You can also pay with quarters. Oddly, credit cards are not accepted for street parking as happens in other local beach areas. Uncorked also offered several other parking options in an email to me after I bought the Groupon. Some folks thought there were less food offerings this year as compared to last year. I plan on attending next year. It's a terrific afternoon in a beautiful setting. Cheers!

I was very disappointed in the red wine selection. I tasted one decent tasting red and the booth attendant was incredibly rude.

The Venue shrunk from 2015. There were less food stations, less wineries, and less stations even though the crowd was larger. The ticket price was higher for less value and longer lines. The other problem is the venue opened 1 Hr later.

Beware! This is NOT a FOOD & WINE adventure! It's a craft beer and a few bites , a fruit wine or two, plus a DJ. Saw folks having the most fun if they were with a few friends. Only worth going if you bought it through Groupon.

We have been going four years. Each year it get's small and smaller and the price goes up. The glass and the book in the bag were from last year. All the coupons had expired.

My best friend I really njoyed ourselves. Staff was friendly, informative RE: the products.... Maybe it could of been a lil more enjoyable during the Spring or Summer, due to the cold winds... Oyher than that. I was great!!!, yes I would definitely recommend others to the next event.. Thank you! Tyneshia James

From Our Editors

Established in November of 2011, Clearwater Beach Uncorked invites established chefs, vintners, and brewers from near and far to congregate for a weekend of sun, fun, and delicious dining. The festival is always ripe for culinary adventures: in its inaugural year, the beach featured such sights as a “sand castle” made out of cake and rice-crispie-treat crumbs, a flash mob, and countless realizations that, despite popular opinion, vegetables aren’t yucky after all.
