What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
A mix of Polynesian & contemporary music encourages a happy place that brings out hula dancers of all levels. Kino Hana includes aerobic and anaerobic activities, muscle endurance, flexibility and neuromuscular exercises to help improve balance & coordination.

Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
The instructors are passionate about hula and have many years of experience. The music is specifically chosen to be enjoyable and encouraging and will appeal to those who are drawn to the rhythm of the islands. Sweat, Smile, Repeat!

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Kino Hana began as a way to help local Polynesian dancers stay fit and flexible but it didn't take long to realize that more people were looking for new challenges in fitness. Learning new steps with a new language has turned out to be a creative way to exercise not only our body but our minds too!

What do you love most about your job?
Each class seems to get better and better. It's amazing how music and movement can connect people and make them feel like "this is exactly what I needed!" What's better than creating a better version of you while that island music plays and great people cheer you on?

Plan on being barefoot and bring a sarong to wrap over your shorts. Great fun workout! :)
