BMW Performance Center, Thermal

I thoroughly enjoyed the mini track drive experience at the BMW Performance Center in Thermal. It was especially nice to get so much behind-the-wheel time on the track. The surprise catering was excellent in both quality and quantity, and the instructors were very thorough and clear in explaining the goals and helping us achieve the many tasks like slalom and the timed contest. The cars — the Mini Cooper S — were very enjoyable to drive and added a lot of fun to the experience. As a side note, it would be amazing if the Performance Center could improve the quality of the microphones or walkie-talkies used to give feedback to participants while in the cars. Very often the instructions and feedback were muffled and hard to understand. Since this was my second visit and the same issue showed up again, I thought it worth mentioning. That said, this is really the only downside I’ve seen. Overall, the program is great value, great fun, and highly recommended!

Such lovely time at the performance center. I got lucky and picked a day where they only had 4 people. Brian did such a great job for us. The heat sucks but the small class in the summer makes it worthwhile. You can’t beat this for the price

Phillip at the BMW Performance call center was FANTASTIC! Super nice, too! He answered my questions, and got back to me on with answers to the ones he had to research. This was at the end of July 2021. He helped me use my expired Thermal location cash value to apply it to the August Experience at Indy... which was SO. MUCH. FUN!!!!!!!! Thanks Phillip, BMW and Groupon!

This was fun and my bf & I LOVED it! We did the 2 hour course and will be back for the full day class. Instructor was great, other staffing site were super friendly, the course was doable for newbies to this and the M4 timed laps were awesome! At the end we all got to hop in with other instructors while they did some hot laps on the track - WOW!
