What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Marilyn Burdekin RN/L.Ac having many years experience in Western medicine has a unique way of looking at signs and symptoms through the lens of chinese medicine. Chinese medicine nudges your body, mind and spirit back towards healing.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
My own experience with acupuncture. Although I went to acupuncture after the death of a loved one, many things went away that I didn't share with my provider such as sinusitis and foot pain. So I had to go to acupuncture school.

What do you love most about your job?
Chinese medicine believes that the body wants to heal and is able to given a way. This is in direct contradiction to Western medicine. This single difference makes chinese medicine a joy to share with people.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
"This is better than I ever imagined. Do you think it could help me fly? I wish I had tried it sooner."

I had one session so I can't speak about the effectiveness of the treatment yet. However, Marilyn was professional, communicated well, explained what she was doing, answered my questions. The office was clean, organized and comfortable. I scheduled another appointment. The office is a part of a shared space, and better signage would help finding the place. Complete your new patient forms before you arrive for the appointment.
