Wonderful Rapha Acupuncture #300A, Columbia

I had the worst acupressure experience at Wonderful Rapha Acupuncture and would advise anyone thinking of going there to reconsider. Though I purchased a 90 minute acupuncture/acupressure session, Dr. Lee only rubbed my shoulder for a minute or two, then haphazardly ran a hand-held massager up and down my back for approximately 2-3 minutes. When I asked her if she could massage with her fingers, as all acupuncturists I've ever been to always do, she said she could but refused to actually do it. She then offered to do some "stretching" instead, but simply had me bend my knees and rotate them twice, for less than a minute. All told, I received 5-10 minutes worth of "acupressure massage" from Dr. Lee. It was evident that Dr. Lee is lazy and doesn't actually know acupressure massage. I would suggest saving your money and buying your own deep tissue massager, which would be much more effective and last much longer. I had told Dr. Lee that I would like for her to focus on my foot pain, but when she performed the acupuncture treatment, she told me that she wasn't going to treat my foot pain "this time", which sounded suspiciously like a ploy to ensure my return for a repeat visit. I had to insist on being treated for the foot pain before she reluctantly did so. Having received many acupuncture treatments from different doctors, Dr. Lee's acupuncture skills also proved lackluster in comparison. Dr. Lee also repeatedly asked me for the name, clinic, and info of another acupuncturist I have gone to, and urged me to purchase her (Dr. Lee's) treatment package since "it's obvious the other acupuncturist wasn't doing a good job." This was both awkward and unprofessional. There are many other acupuncturists who are much more skillful and professional, so please don't waste your money and time on this one.

It’s been over a year since I had acupuncture and today's experience had me questioning where has she been when I tell you she was amazing from the beginning to the end very attentive to all my needs, the office was very neat and clean and I can't wait to see her next week.
