All In Adventures Escape Room, Columbus

We have been to almost every escape room in Columbus and were very excited to finally try this one. However, we were very disappointed and would have to say that this is by far the worst we have been to. The setting is in a mall and inside each room, the walls don't go up to the ceiling which means that you hear EVERYTHING in other rooms and at the entrance which is very distracting. Everything inside the room is very cheap - My group of 4 agreed that it felt like Oriental Trading put the room together. It was all very worn down and lazy. We could have gotten beyond that but before beginning, we were told that we get two "helps" by pressing the red button and we would receive help by the attendant. Our first help was fine, but at the 9 min mark, we rang for assistance as we were told we could because we were completely stuck. After a while, the attendant still had not arrived so we rang again (and confirmed once again that the red light was working). Eventually, we rang yet again but still nothing. We were very close to finishing but needed a clue. Due to the walls mentioned above, we could hear her laghing and having fun with another group, then it was quiet for a while so we knew she wasn't doing anything. Finally, just before the end of the time, she walked in and claimed she was never notified and seemed to claim that we were lying about pressing the button (several times), which is very bizarre and not appreciated. We asked for the additional 9 minutes since she never showed up and she told us that the time was over. We all left with the feeling of being cheated. We are perfectly fine not being able to solve a mystery, but to not be able to do so because we were waiting for assistance was very disappointing. There are MUCH, MUCH better options in Columbus when it comes to escape rooms - I would suggest staying far away from this unless you are right there at the mall and need to burn an hour.

This was our first experience. Would have preferred ,as I requested , an overview of how the escape room works and the basic concepts to keep in mind. If that had happened when we requested guidance at the beginning the score would have been better.

Not as much fun as other escape rooms.
