What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Small intimate class sizes. Hands on adjustments and one-on-one attention. Beautiful loft meditation space. Peaceful music and aromatherapy.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
Each of my practices are different. They all have similar flows but we work into different focus areas of the body each class. One day, it may be all about the hip and hamstrings. Another day, it may be all about the neck and shoulders. It really depends on how my students are feeling.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I've been personally practicing yoga for over 10 years. I started to help with a sever back injury. I never had a goal of becoming a yoga instructor but after it helped me - I wanted to help others. The benefits were countless.
What do you love most about your job?
The people I meet. It sounds cliché but it's true! I talk to them and there is tons of doubt when it comes to trying yoga for the first time. "I'm not flexible" - I've heard 100's of times. Once they realize they can do yoga and it helps them feel good in their bodies - it's truly rewarding.
