About Swordplay Fencing Academy

In a beginner's fencing class at Swordplay Fencing Academy, students start with footwork before they ever touch a sword. You learn how to advance, retire, and lunge, equipping your muscles with a memory of the movements that will help you thrive in a fast-paced sparring match. Once you've got the basics down, you can put on a mesh face mask and grab a foil, saber, or epee and level the basic guards against an opponent during your first duel. For those who want to work out their muscles and relieve stress, open fencing times allow you to spar in the evenings with friends or against your imaginary medieval nemesis.

George is a great teacher and the kids have a great fun while learning fencing. A little out of the way and not too easy to park, but overall a great experience.

Very fun. Passionate & knowledgeable instructor. If you're serious about it, buy your own equipment... The shared, stinky clothing grossed me out a bit. (I might just be a bit of a germaphobe).
