Thai House- Lake Norman, Cornelius

The Chanasar family opened the first Thai House in Charlotte more than 20 years ago, and not much has changed since then. They still craft Thai cuisine with an unwavering dedication to tradition, preparing red curry with sweet coconut milk and fragrant basil, adding fresh ginger to pad krapraw, and balancing sour and spicy flavors in shrimp tom tom soup. They also continue to maintain a vibrant atmosphere to match their flavorful food, filling the dining rooms with one-of-a-kind teak artwork and Thai music.
