Michael D. Giles was somewhere in Salem, unsure of where he was going. But as luck would have it, he soon found himself by the Oregon School of Massage, which was good fortune, as he had long sought relief from massage therapy and had thought about becoming a massage therapist himself. Whether by good fortune or destiny, it indeed pointed him toward a path forward. So while still working full-time, he began study at Oregon School of Massage, and soon he was a licensed massage therapist. As he works on a client's muscles, he employs myofascial massage, as well as various Western and Eastern modalities, ensuring he tailors his treatments to each client's needs.

Michael has a very unique style of massage that is based on fascial and muscle release. It is very effective for reducing pain and working out fascial adhesions. I also found it very relaxing and actually fell asleep. Michael is very professional but also warm and kind. A very nice experience with good results.

Michael administers a truly therapeutic massage. You are not pampered , you are healed! His massage space is in a great location in an historic building downtown. Great coffee and food nearby. The space has a calming vibe and the artwork in the hallways is colorful and fun to view. All of this, Plus Michael is an amazingly nice human being!
