At Salon Shag we specialize in men’s and women’s waxing, extensions, cuts, all over color, and on/off site wedding updos. Whether your hair is thin or thick, you’re a stay at home mom or a A-List celebrity our highly educated stylists are here to consult you and make your dream a reality.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Founded in 2009 Salon Shag Owner and stylist Diana Weeks Willardson hand picked some of the most creative, talented and friendly stylists Utah has to offer. In 2014 Salon Shag moved locations from Sandy to Cottonwood Heights, added a wax specialist to their staff and doubled in size.

What do you love most about your job?
The ability to provide the everyday woman with a relaxing experience away from her everyday life in a timely, professional manner sending them out the door bursting with self-confidence.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
Love love love Salon Shag!!!! Every time I come to get my hair done and waxed I feel like royalty! I always get greeted right away! Employees are sooo considerate and go out if their way to make my own and others experience a fabulous one.
