They were flexible and helpful for the four session. It gave us a good chance to see what they have to offer.

We went to the branch in Crofton, MD right before Christmas and had a terrible experience! I wanted to try it out for my 2 daughters and was looking for a fun math related experience for them but all they did was work quietly in a binder doing math problems. That’s fine, but was not what I was looking for and my kids were bored out of their minds. The owner talks one-on-one with all the parents so when we spoke, I told him we just wanted to try it out but at this time we’ll just finish the 4 classes that we purchased through the Groupon but won’t continue. I mentioned in the future we may continue if they ever needed tutoring but not at this time. Since he was not going to get more business and more money from me, as I was scheduling my next 3 classes that we had left, he tells the guy at the front desk that he needs to schedule the rest of my daughters’ appts all in one week and by that Saturday we were done. I couldn’t understand why he wanted us to finish our remaining classes all in 1 week. It was because we were not continuing and since he was not going to get anymore money from us, he didn’t want to extend the tutoring services any longer. It didn’t make sense to me. I fought it and refused to have my daughters go there 3x in a week and we weren’t able to do that with our schedule plus it was around Christmas. It wasn’t until I showed them the expiration date on the Groupon which said we had 2 months from when we purchased the Groupon to use the services and told them that if they refused to schedule my daughters after that one week that I demand to be refunded since I already paid for the Groupon. They finally scheduled my daughters’ beyond that 1 week but I will never go back! What a terrible business!
