The $99 Groupon deal was fine, until the company charged me an additional $280 deals for two brackets to hold an electrical cable from the dryer duct (the cable had been fine for the 42 years since the house was built), two small pieces of heat tape and a transition duct for the clothes dryer (which i later discovered cost $19.98 at Lowes). In addition, the cable was still in contact with the dryer duct, so the brackets were of no value. Since the dryer was being delivered the next day, I had little choice but to pay the additional $280. A big RIP OFF (they were here less than an hour) and I will never do business with this company in the future. They should be ashamed to treat customers this way and I would give them a rating of NO stars, if that was possible.

The dryer vent ducts were not properly supported so we suggested adding more supports, "the cable" was not at all sufficient to support the amount of ducting that was there. All of the joints on the 25+ feet of dryer vent ducting were wrapped in duct tape, we suggested removing the duct tape and wrapping the joints with heat tape to comply with IRC (International Residential Code). We also replaced a damaged flex duct that was a safety hazard as well as an IRC code violation. We explained it to Jim and he could have gone to Lowes and done the work himself, we agreed on a price and performed the necessary repairs.

This is a very professional and friendly business. I got a gutter cleaning appointment promptly that they needed to delay for a couple of days, but that wasn’t a problem. The representative kept me informed. I got a reminder on the day of my gutter cleaning. When the job was finished, I got a final report and pictures. I have used this company a few times now and always been happy with them.
