From Our Editors
The dentists at Fuller Smiles founded the practice in response to a condition that often made grins disappear: dental anxiety. Aiming to erase the worry and fear often associated with their profession, the staff now makes the experience both pleasant and comforting, like strolling through a meadow while eating macaroni and cheese. After climbing into the dentists' chairs, patients can strap on a pair of DVD goggles, select a movie, and tune out whatever's happening in their mouths. The relaxation isn't simply superficial; nitrous oxide settles nerves while reducing gag reflexes, and intra-oral cameras ensure quick, definitive diagnoses and give patients a chance to finally get a glimpse of their favorite molar.
