Bobby Stoll grew up grilling. The Cheeseburger Bobby's founder took that love for fresh-off-the-fire burgers and in 2007 turned it into a fast-casual masterpiece.

• The meats: Diners order up fresh, never-frozen burgers and hotdogs and customize them with a selection of toppings at the build-your-own-burger bar that features crispy lettuce, spicy mustard, and more.
• The sides: Bobby's is all about the fries, which are made from hand-cut, skins-on potatoes fried in trans-fat-free oil for a light, crispy flavor
• The sweets: finish meals with a creamy, old-fashioned custard made in the Coney Island tradition and packed with Oreo cookie, Reese's cup, or salt-caramel toppings to name a few
