What's one tip for first-time students that will make them feel like veterans?
The only thing you need to do is show up. Even veteran martial artists were beginners at one time. A black belt is just a white belt who never quit!
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Our mission is ""Building character, confidence, community, and security through Top Level instruction in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and other martial arts." I can't think of a better motivation. Our instruction has changed the lives of several bullied and troubled children.
What do you love most about your job?
We love to provide children with the confidence to face the world, stand up for their beliefs, and soar beyond the "limitations" they've put on themselves. Through Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, they change their lives and discover themselves. It's an honor to be a part of that process.
