Southern Virginia Wine Trail, Chatham

The SoVA Wine Trail lets groups experience its 12 participating wineries through food and wine tasting events, aiming to introduce visitors to the finest vintages crafted by local residents. The events provide the opportunity to chat personally with winemakers and vineyard owners, pairing their bottled beverages with bites from local restaurants. On the east side, wine lovers stop at Molliver Vineyards, which is located on a property that dates back to the 1700s, and Bright Meadows Farm, a winery that operates out of a 117-year-old barn. On the west side, the Brooks Mill Winery doles out fruit wines, and the White Oak Mountain Meadery lets visitors taste the drink our ancient ancestors preferred to drink when they ran out of Mountain Dew.
