Jill Scott Stewart always arrives early for a beach photo shoot, heading straight to the water's edge to recharge in the stillness. Like a mermaid who relocated for a new job, she savors these quiet moments on the shore, but also relishes meeting all variety of new places and people. When Jill Scott Stewart Photography was established in 2003, then known as Storybook Photography, Jill set out to capture images of these new friends and the landscapes that shape them.

Jill’s blend of classic and modern techniques transforms snapshots into timeless portraits for wedding parties, high school seniors, families, or other groups. Jill keeps on-location shoots light and playful, snagging authentic poses that she masterfully retouches and immortalizes as prints, digital images, or cave paintings for future generations to enjoy. During classes and workshops, Jill imparts wisdom about photography, lighting, and Photoshop to budding shutterbugs.
