Society 8 Hospitality Group is pleased to bring an authentic Oktoberfest celebration to Fort Lauderdale’s Hugh Taylor Birch State Park benefiting the Friends of Birch State Park. During the festivities, guests are encouraged to don their lederhosen as they are transported to a German countryside at the park. The park’s open space will be transformed into villages with biergartens, festive décor and tented dining areas. A German-American menu will be offered featuring Bratwurst, Pretzels, Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Burgers, to name a few! Steins will be flowing with locally brewed beer from Khoffner Brewery.

At this high-energy festival, Polka dancers will perform to live Polka music playing traditional German music in addition to live bands, Soul Junk & The Drew Preston Project performing today’s hits. Along with fun, interactive games for all to enjoy.

We actually went to Beauty and the Feast for our class. It was great, so laid back and a very small group. The chef was great at explaining as he went along and even gave us the recipes after. It was a great night out for me and my husband!

That was such a joke. I am so glad I didnt pay $40 for "vip" tent that was posted on groupon. Anyone was allowed under the tent and the40 was only for a beer mug. They had no food but pretzels and brot. We were starving so left after 30 minutes. We had more fun exploring the park and taking pictures than actually being at the event.

This was an amazing experience. Every course was unique and savory. Miller was our server, he did an outstanding job and was very knowledgeable about all the food and thoroughly explained everything. Will definitely go back and bring our friends and family!
