Ironroot Promethean Bourbon: A bold 103 proof bourbon distilled from heirloom corns and rye and was awarded Best Craft Bourbon by the Whiskies of the World Competition.

Ironroot Hubris Corn Whiskey: This cask strength whiskey (117.8 proof) is distilled from locally grown Non-GMO yellow corn and purple corn was award a Double Gold and Best in Class at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Ironroot Harbinger Bourbon - this cask strength bourbon (116.5) is distilled from Non-GMO yellow, red, and purple corn and was awarded double gold at the New York International Wine and Spirits Competition.

Ironroot Grape Brandy: This is the first grape brandy distilled in Texas (and the first grape brandy distilled from Texas Grapes).

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

The inspiration to start this business was a passion for whiskey, a love of history, and a desire to create and express our art!

What do you love most about your job?

We love the hands on nature of job and the fact that what we create is a moment in time - each barrel we lay down is a reminder of what we were doing and what we were experiencing when we made it. Each barrel embodies those memories and how they are impacted by our environment from that day until the present.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

The best reactions are when people understand what you are trying to do, when they get as excited to drink the whiskey or brandy as we were to make it.
