Tried Fontana Sushi for the first time using Groupon. The service was great, and the sushi was amazing! We tried several rolls (some classic and some basic), and each was delicious! The Groupon process was also very easy, which isn’t necessarily the case at every place.
Our server was a bit slow this time, but the food was amazing as always. Always something fresh on the menu as well as real fresh wasabi. If you've never had real wasabi get it, it's only $2 more and you'd be a fool to pass the opportunity.
All the staff is exceptionally well trained, kind and they speak English perfectly.
Outstanding fish and food quality that comes with a lovely presentation.
This is by far the best Sushi in town - and compares to the very best high priced places in California as our friends remarked (Sushi connoisseurs).
We are so happy we found this place in our neighborhood and will surely be back.
The room is very pleasant - not like the deafening super expensive Sushi place on South Pearl Street where we actually left unsatisfied and with ringing ears for hours after.
Easy street parking all around.
Best sushi in the Denver area!!!!! Great job!!
comprehensive menu, best gyoza ever, top-notch sushi, and great fish tanks
Order the Diablo roll! And then come back for their awesome happy hour. :)
Super nice waiters and exquisite sushi.
Omg the sushi here was really delicious! Definitely one of my favorite sushi places! There's two Fontana sushi but this location is really really good!
I have been coming here since the 2000's so I have seen it change a lot, but still it's great food and an awesome family that run it.
From Our Editors
Whether glittering with ruby roe, layered in a cloak of teriyaki sauce, or entangled in curry noodles, every Fontana Sushi entree has interesting flavors to discover. Along with dinner dishes such as bento boxes, udon noodles, and beef or chicken teriyaki, chefs craft a wide variety of sushi options. From the simplicity of raw octopus to the elaborate medley of the Sunshine Roll—salmon, pickles, avocado, tuna, and tobiko—every bundle of rice lets the flavors of the seafood sing like a whale at underwater karaoke.
