About Northern Colorado Wine Festivals

The Front Range Wine Festival, now in its sixth year, returns to Windsor this August for a full Saturday of sipping, snacking, shopping, and live entertainment. Here's what you can expect to find in Main Park that afternoon:

  • Wine: More than 25 different wineries, including Avanti and Western View, vie for your palate's attention with some of their best, award-winning varietals. You can taste your way through the show via unlimited free samples, or purchase a favorite by the glass or bottle.

  • Retail vendors: Between sips, be sure to browse the retail booths for artisan delights such as hand-crafted pastas, organic essential oils, and contemporary art.

  • Food: Just like no wedding is complete until the bride boxes one of her rowdy cousins, a summer festival isn't complete without food. Here, you'll find plenty of street treats, such as pizza, gyros, lobster rolls, and philly cheese steaks.

Extremely long lines to even get samples, people were standing after getting samples and not moving for other patrons; the area had virtually no shade other than tents that were quickly filled as they were relatively small in size; really not that many food options...just a few food trucks; music was hard to hear (or was just a super low volume).

Wine and atmosphere is great. Live music is great too on a sunny, breezy day. I would give 5 stars if there were more food options. Just a few food trucks...all good, just limited choices.

It was extremely hot and there was only one tent to provide shade. Lots of wineries canceled last minute, but overall it was fun. Just need more shade and more food options!
