When autumn's crisp breezes carry October into Kansas, Mr. Gourdman's Pumpkin Patch swings open its gates to help families celebrate the season with pumpkin picking, horseback rides, and an assortment of other fall-related activities. Visitors can simply soak in the scenery or take on some of the property's challenges, including a hay maze and an unofficial grass-eating contest against Mr. Gourdman's donkey, Leroy. During breaks, a picnic area lets groups gather around snacks from their own cooler, and an arts-and-crafts stand doles out keepsakes with which to remember the day.

We liked the horse back rides but the other attractions were not great. Overall for the price the kids had fun.

We took our grandkids there last year (2011) and they had a lot of fun with the horse rides on the big horses. This year they only had the little ponies and one of the boys was too heavy to ride them. Also, the slingshot was not there this year and the boys were really looking forward to doing it again. The zip line could have been set up better, they needed three people to hold line up so one of the boys could ride it. Had I known about these things this year I wouldn't have gone, and I definitely would not have bought the $7 apiece all you want upgrade at the door.
