Cafe Art, Dublin

Great fun place.

Friendly atmosphere with lots of help that doesn't intrude but is there if you need it. You don't have to be an artist to enjoy coloring ... the popularity of "adult coloring books" is proof. At Café Art, you paint a ceramic piece you select from hundreds of items - plates, small bowls, small figurines, letters - with paints and paint brushes supplied by the store. When you are done, the store fires them in a kiln and turns them into something beautiful. There is usually a birthday party at the back, and there are often grandparents and parents with children spending time here. We went with my newly-turned-4 year old granddaughter and my two adult daughters. We all had a wonderful time painting and catching up on each others' lives.

Nice place but they definately charge a lot for the experience

This was the best date nite I've ever had. It was so fun and the woman that works there is extremely nice and helpful and she walked us through each step as we approached a new one. I'm already planning my next visit next week!
