About Massbach Ridge Winery

Set among the sprawling fields and undulating hills of Jo Daviess County is Massbach Ridge Winery. On this 18-plus-acre estate, the Harmston family began a vineyard in 2000, which now produces enough grapes to support the winery's more than 15 styles of reds and whites.

Members of the winery family escort guests on impromptu tours before rendezvousing in the tasting room or on the patio for samplings. The outdoor patio grants a heightened view of the vineyards below, in which visitors can venture to discover vine-ripe copies of The Grapes of Wrath.

In addition to its frequent tastings and tours, Massbach Ridge also serves its wines in a tasting room on Main Street in scenic Galena.
