I loved the Wood & Fullerton on Satelitte Blvd but never had been to the Holcomb Bridge/Spalding location. When I called to set up my appt, I asked how long it would take for oil change - was told 30-45 min, for sure an hr or less. I said good I had another appt to get to but would need to leave w/in an hr. I arrived 5-10 min early. After an hr they came to inform me I needed a new battery, & maybe I do. I told them I would think about it but reminded them I needed to leave right away for my next appt. He promised me my car would be "right out." 15 min later still no car, I asked if it was about to come out "now" and was promised yes. I said if not, I needed to call to apologize to my next appt that I was going to for sure be late if I did not leave in next few min. The rep then said I needed to ck out, but yet I already had when I checked in - they then said to me, I have to call the 1-800#? Why when the first rep that checked me in processed the Groupon from my phone app and hit 'used' on the groupon over 90 min earlier. Further, the Groupon was for a synthetic blend oil change, but they used conventional oil instead, a much cheaper oil service. I verbally confirmed the wording on the invoice and he said yes, making no offer to correct. I let it go, not knowing the poor quality of service + wrong type oil used was a deal breaker. Then not only the rep + store mgr coming to convince me I neededa battery. Which I would have considered returning as I said I needed to think it over. I asked them to confirm if the battery had a date on it so I could follow up and see if it had any warranty on it remaining. If not, I probably would have returned if a pro service & quality products had been used. Needless to say, not well orgainized, not good customer service, false advertising and no apologizes as I finally left the store after 1hr, 45 min! Resulted in my being in 5pm traffic, my calling to see if ok I was late, and arriving very late for next appt w/someone that is professional and has customer serv a priority! Very embarrassing. And this store is now the closest to where I live. I will make it a point to warn my friends, relatives and neighbors verbally and online.

Positive experience at the Town Lake Wood and Fullerton Tire and Auto. Have been there before with other vehicles and have had the same experience each time. The staff is friendly and they enjoy working there - something you can just tell by the way they interact with the customers and each other. Definitely going back. Especially liked the fact that they didn't try to sell me any "extras" that I didn't want.
