About Aurora Acupuncture

Jessica Bartolini first encountered acupuncture visiting Japan while living abroad in China. That initial experience sparked a series of events, like studying at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, that eventually led Jessica to open Aurora Acupuncture.

It's here that she leads community acupuncture sessions, during which she inserts hair-thin needles into specific points on the feet, hands, and face of clients lounging in recliners to the background of soothing spa music. Jessica's treatments are said to accomplish everything from alleviating anxiety and fatigue to helping with chronic pain and injury recovery.

I didn't like the community atmosphere and having to remove your shoes. During my treatment I felt a few needles fall out. When I was done I stopped at the ladies room and a couple needles fell from my shirt. That made me think that needles could have fallen on the floor when leaving the community area and running the risk of someone stepping on them. Conversely I could have stepped on needles that had fallen from another customer.
