At EnerQi Acupuncture, practitioners take a holistic approach to healing. The office was founded in 2016 by Callie Viverito who felt the need to fill in the gap within modern medical practices. She began offering natural methods—cupping and acupuncture—to stimulate the bodies to naturally heal themselves. Acupuncture includes the use of fine needles which the practitioner inserts along meridians to help relieve pain and discomfort. Cupping, on the other hand, involves placing cups on the skin to create suction and help loosen muscles, encourage blood flow, and stimulate the nervous system.
