I joined when it was known as Rise at Amerikick in South Slope (looks like there’s been several name/location changes), and it was a good introductory gateway into what would lead into me training seriously at other martial arts schools/fight gyms. I eventually decided to leave because of the toxic, weird cliquey/gossipy/culty/bodyshaming culture and unstable, chaotic instructor.
