About Sambuca Italian Restaurant And Bar

Even before the food arrives at Sambuca Bar & Grill, Italian food lovers in Monroe County will likely be familiar with the flavors. That's because Sambuca is run by the same group behind Lemoncello, an eatery right across the street. Sambuca, however, has its own unique flare with its laid-back Americanized "nuovo Italian" offerings that include entrees like homemade pasta, gnocchi, lasagna, cioppino, fish, pizza, and lighter fare all specifically crafted together by chef Silvana Formoso. Enjoy these authentic Italian dishes with a drink from their full bar during dinner hours, visit on weekend nights to dance the night away, or inquire about booking this venue for your private party needs all at this neighborhood bar and grill.

Excellent dinner experience. Service was great. We.commented on one of the pictures on the wall and the waiter called the owner to verify our observations. The pasta was homemade. How many restaurants do that anymore. My husband had a seafood dish, chiapino which included octapus. I had the specialty dish, pappardelle with short ribs. Delicious. We will be back.

Went on a sister date. We split the spinach cakes, grilled Romain and Torro pizza. Spinach cakes were amazing. Beautifully presented and tasted even better than they looked. Romain was deconstructed which was nice for sharing. Pizza was good but would have been better w/ crispier crust. Wine list was weak but b.y.o.b. Thurs. is a great solution for that. Service was great. Would dine here again.
