What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Our school continues the legacy of American Kenpo Karate in the York area for over 30 years. Our black belts combined experience is many times greater than any other school in the area. We have a large area for viewing the students, male and female changing areas and restrooms, and ample parking.

What equipment is provided? Is there anything visitors need to bring?
We provide the instruction, you provide the learning. We have most typical martial arts equipment for training or purchase. Kick. and punching shields, protective undergarments, sparring gear, punching bags, plastic weapons for training, etc. You do not need a Karate uniform to start training.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
My instructor after Fourty years of service to the art retired, and was about to close the doors on the studio. We knew at that time we could continue the school's great tradition of teaching this great art.

What do you love most about your job?
Building the confidence in students, watching them learn and grow is the best. This martial arts system doesn't require great athletic ability or physical dexterity, but it is very effective. When "everyday people" see the can take down that "250lb jerk" in the bar, that is a great feeling.
