In your own words, how would you describe your menu?

Sunday is Fun Day at Coffee Works Too. We do a Sunday Brunch 2 to 3 times per month. Unique dishes not typically found as well as traditional favorites. Brunch accompanies live music. Most Sunday evenings we do a tapas style 6 course wine and food pairing. Each week a different theme. Karaoke accompanies the wine & food pairings.

What made you want to work with food? When did you first develop that passion?

I have always enjoyed taking cooking lessons and developing my own style, as well as entertaining dinner parties for large groups of friends. In the industry, I began with learning the coffee roasting/barista trade and leaving kitchen duties to other staff. Thanks to the stewardship of several great Southern New Jersey chefs, i have developed my own culinary style and the confidence to prepare dishes for the cafe including leading the team in preparation of Sunday Wine and Food pairings.

Has your business won any awards?

We have been chosen as a TOP Specialty Coffee Retailer by the Specialty Coffee Association of America. We are occasionally recognized locally as the readers choice for coffee or entertainment. Some of our chefs have garnered acclaim outside the cafe and their culinary feats are what make us special.
